Use the feeling wheel to help describe your emotions.
How to Use the Feeling Wheel
If you are having trouble describing your emotions the feeling wheel can provide you with some assistance. You can use the feeling wheel to take a broad emotion, such as “angry” and refine it by selecting one of the emotions in the outer ring that match “angry”. You can also use it to simplify your expression. To do this, locate your emotion in one of the outer rings, then move inward to locate a broader, more encompassing description.
